Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is given by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, infallible, and God's revealed word to man. (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that there is only one true and living God who has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10,11; Matt. 28:19; Luke 3:22 1 Tim 3:16)

We believe that man is a sinful being in need of redemption. (Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Psalm 51:5; Eccl. 7:29; John 6:44; Romans 5:12-21; 1 Cor. 2:14)

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God and the son of man. He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him. (Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; John 3:16; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; 1 Cor. 1:18, 19 2 Cor. 5:21)

We believe that for salvation of mankind, regeneration by the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance, is absolutely essential by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.( Joel 2:28; Acts 2:4; Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 1:15,16)

We believe that for salvation of mankind that water baptism, in the Name of Jesus, is absolutely essential. ( John 3:5; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16)

We believe that all mankind is subject to the death of the body as a result of original sin. (Eccl. 12:7; Romans 5:12; Hebrews 9:27,28)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation. (Acts 24:15; I Cor. 2:9; Rev 20:10; Rev. 20:15; Rev. 21:1-8; Rev. 22:10-15)

We believe in the imminent return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (Rev. 22:20; Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:13-18)

We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Isa. 53:4, 5; James 5:14; 1 Peter 2:24)

We believe that we are engaged in constant spiritual warfare with demonic powers that are seeking to overthrow, frustrate, hinder, and disorganize the people of God. (Ephesians 6:10-18; II Corinthians 10:3-5; I Peter 5:8)

We believe that there is only one Saviour, Jesus Christ, and only one gospel although there is a wide diversity of evangelistic approaches. (Ephesians 4:5, 6; Jude 24, 25; Gal. 1:8)
