Is every Christian called to engage in spiritual warfare?

Yes, all Christians are to learn spiritual warfare. "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices." (II Corinthians 2:11)

"For though we walk in the flesh we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." (II Corinthians 10:3-5)

Why is there an increase of demon manifestations in the earth?

"The devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." (Revelation 12:12)

What is Satan's ultimate mission?

The devil's ultimate mission is to destroy the Kingdom of God. And if you are a royal child of the King, Satan will stop at absolutely nothing to totally annihilate you. He hates you with a passion and there is not one second of the day that he is not seeking to devour you. I Peter 5:8 warns us, "Be sober, be vigilant." In other words, take this thing serious! Watch out for the attacks of the Enemy, "Because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

What must I do to guarantee that I will always be victorious when I am battling the forces of hell?

Life is a constant active struggle against demonic forces. Therefore, you need to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you indeed have the divine strength and protection that only God can give.

Let's take a good look at Ephesians 6:13-17, "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth." To gird up your loins means to prepare yourself for something requiring readiness, strength, or endurance. It takes all of that to stand for truth when you are under attack.

The word tells us to have on the "breastplate of righteousness; and have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." This means have a readiness to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, firmly standing on the word of God.

"Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." You must exercise unwavering faith to successfully withstand the attacks of the devil. "And take the helmet of salvation. . ." If you are saved you are covered by the Blood of Jesus, that is your constant protection. Also, to do battle in the spirit realm and be victorious over the forces of hell every time, you need to have "the sword of the Spirit," which is the word of God, sharpened in your mind at all times.

By putting on and keeping on the whole armor of God you will always be well-equipped for spiritual warfare.

What must I do when the devil tells me that I'll never win the war?

Remember that "he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44) There is not one iota of truth in anything that the devil says! In Mark 16:17, Jesus tells us that every born again believer shall cast out devils in His Name. There is not one demonic power in hell that will not fall and die under the matchless Name of Jesus.

What is a true sign that a Believer has the Holy Ghost?

Power. The Bible declares in Acts 1:8 "Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Other signs that a Believer has the Holy Ghost is recorded in Mark 16:17, Jesus said, "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; (and) they shall speak with new tongues..." The evidence of Believers speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance is recorded in Acts 2:4.

Is fasting needed for spiritual warfare?

Yes, Jesus told his disciples in the 9th chapter of Mark that foul spirits can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting. Fasting crucifies the flesh and builds up the spirit man to the point wherein Satan realizes that you are a definite force to be reckoned with in the spirit realm. Fasting signifies to Satan's army that you are not playing games and that you will combat and destroy the works of the devil by whatever means necessary, in Jesus' Name.

Is there a powerful "Spiritual Warfare Prayer" that I could memorize?

Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, I superimpose your prophetic purposes concerning my life over and against all demonic activities. I bring down every manifestation, operation, manipulation, resistance, limitation, exploitation, set-back, disappointment, fear, spell, unscriptural prayer and desire.

I rebuke every satanic demand and claim upon my life and my future. Furthermore, I uproot and destroy any assignment of the Enemy, whatsoever, to hinder, halt, or cause me to doubt your prophetic and divine purposes for me in the Name of Jesus.

I superimpose the prophetic purposes of God in my life over the fear of the unknown; over the walls of opposition and resistance, and over satanic predictions and projections in the Name of Jesus.

I plead the Blood of Jesus against territorial spirits assigned to frustrate, hinder, harass, disorganize, and prevent my efforts to excel in God in any shape, form, or fashion, in the Name of Jesus. I plead the Blood of Jesus over individuals, organizations, and operations that have yielded themselves as vessels of dishonor to war against me in the spirit realm.

By the Blood of Jesus, I nullify, I overrule, I cancel, I revoke and reverse any death wish, sickness, disease, affliction, and all satanic decisions against me. And by the Blood of Jesus, I halt any accusing finger. I silence the voice of the Accuser and break every generational curse in the Name of Jesus.

Furthermore, I vow to pray, and fast, and daily intercede for others. And I shall endure hardness as a good soldier until I complete this God ordained assignment in Jesus Name. Amen

"The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." (Romans 13:12) And may you forever "endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." (II Timothy 2:3)
